Band Instrument Repair Program - Spring Semester

In the spring brasswind courses, students take all the principles learned by working with the trumpet and expand them to work with larger instruments such as the French horn, trombone and tuba.

They continue learning how to repair woodwinds as they carry their studies forward to larger instruments such as the saxophone, oboe and bassoon.

In the program students gain mastery of all of the concepts they need to know about wind instruments and expand their knowledge to cover everything from the piccolo to the tuba. They learn continuously through the whole year, working with large power equipment such as drill press, lathe, machining and sanders.
